Bone loss does not automatically rule out implant treatment. CBCT imaging and a clinical examination show whether the site is ready for placement or whether bone grafting, sinus augmentation, or another approach should be discussed.

Dental implant treatment often involves two offices. Dr. Udy places the implant and monitors surgical healing. The restorative dentist manages the temporary tooth when one is used and completes the final crown, bridge, denture, or full-arch prosthesis.
