Education and Surgical Training
Originally from St. George, Utah, Dr. Udy completed undergraduate studies at Dixie State College of Utah and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, with an emphasis in pre-dental studies.
She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine, graduating summa cum laude. Her training continued with a one-year oral surgery internship at the VA Hospital in Long Beach, California, where she worked with veterans.
Dr. Udy then completed formal residency training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut.
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in O’Fallon
After residency, Dr. Udy joined Northwest Oral Surgeons in July 2013. She later became the owner of the long-standing practice and continues to care for patients from its O’Fallon office.
Patients see a familiar surgeon and work with a team that has served local families and referring offices for many years. That continuity makes it easier to ask questions, prepare for treatment, and know whom to call during recovery.

Dr. Udy uses CBCT imaging, panoramic X-rays, digital intraoral scanning, and photogrammetry when those tools provide useful information for diagnosis, implant planning, guided treatment, or coordination with a restorative dentist. Together, these records help her evaluate the anatomy and explain the treatment plan more clearly.
